Guest Ratings & Reviews
After a lovely meal at the nearby Lambton Worm, I returned to my room around 10:00 pm. The room on the first floor was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel offers a great location close to bars, pubs, restaurants, and the train station, making it perfect for a night out.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, clean, and had lovely large fluffy towels. The staff were accommodating when my family used my room to get ready for a wedding. The only downside was being directly above a bar that was open until 1 am.
After returning from a meal at the nearby Lambton Worm around 10:00 pm, I found our room on the first floor to have a very comfortable bed. The hotel has a policy of placing a group of teenagers next to a family in a 'family room', which wasn't ideal. The service throughout the entire stay in the UK was exceptional, with every staff member being friendly and going above and beyond, even during a false fire alarm incident. The location is excellent, being next to a pub in Sunderland, making it feel like a holiday spot with convenient access to various amenities. The dining experience, however, was not satisfactory with overpriced basic items like cornflakes, orange juice, and a muffin. Despite some drawbacks, my overall stay was pleasant and worth the money spent.
The hotel was lovely and spacious, more than we were expecting for a cheap price. The rooms were clean and ready for check-in at 3 pm. It was great and very large, perfect for a family. Staff were accommodating when I had family members over for my wedding day, allowing them to use my room to get ready and even providing car park passes without any issues.
